This industry veteran of over 27 years taught his students many of the skills required to produce exemplary anatomical exhibits with the wisdom and confidence of a seasoned professional. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations of the firm, Ron had the coveted opportunity to teach biomedical art and visualization at Rowan University from 2017 to 2019. The HAPPY BONES PROJECT aims to promote the physical activity amongst women between 50 and 65 years old, offering an innovative protocol to involve them in a moderate physical activity and, as a consequence, strengthen their personal resources and improve their well-being. The name “Bone Zone” holds special meaning to Anatomical Justice’s owner and managing member, Ronald Mathias. We’re excited to present an insight into the joys and challenges of medical illustration, explanations of prevalent injuries, and even tips on maneuvering the legal system when utilizing demonstrative evidence. Once a month (and sometimes more), we will post an article written by one of our certified medical illustrators, or another expert in the field.
